Plot Summary:
While taking a friend to the train station, a divorcee (Kate Jackson) is handed a package by a handsome intelligence operative (Bruce Boxleitner) who works for a secret U.S. Government Agency. After their first encounter, their lives are never the same.
Romantic/Cute:
Whoa. Lee, standing at the top of the staircase dressed in his tuxedo smiling down at Amanda.
Watch Lee and Amanda as they dance together, talk about romance! Even though they’ve just met you can see the chemistry between them.
Bloopers:
In the drive thru scene we see that the kids are in the car throwing stuff. When we cut to an inside the car shot - there are no kids in the car!
Mel Stewarts name is spelled wrong in the opening credits. It’s spelled Mel Stuart.
In parking garage, while on that cart, Amanda’s hair is up, then down, then up, then down.
Favorite Quote(s):
Lee: What are you wearing?
Amanda: What do you care!
_____
Amanda: How did you find me?
Lee: Oh we have our ways.
Amanda: I thought only Nazis and spies said that.
Lee: Well, I’m not a Nazi.
_____
Amanda: So you’re a spy?
Lee: Actually we don’t say spy.
Amanda: I thought you were a gangster.
_____
Dotty: Clams again dear?
Interesting Facts:
Lee’s phone number at IFF: 202-547-9986
This isn’t a blooper so I thought I would post it here - the house shot that you see early on in the episode isn’t the same as the one seen in the opening - notice that it has three gables at the top.
Amanda must have redecorated the den after this episode. She replaced the flowered couch with the pineapple couch and got a new coffee table.
This episode has pictures in the opening credits that you don’t see in future credits. They are: Amanda drying the crystal goblet with a hairdryer, Lee kicking the bad guy away from the helicopter, Lee walking along side the train by himself, and Amanda and Lee runing through the parking garage holding hands.
