While many of us became familiar with Bruce through his work on Scarecrow and Mrs. King, Bruce has had extensive roles in both television and film.

Bruce Boxleitner came to Los Angeles in 1972 and was given five lines on an episode of “The Mary Tyler Moore Show”. This earned him his Screen Actors Guild card, and he promptly embarked on a series of screen test and auditions. That ultimately led to the role of James Arness’ nephew in a TV movie, “The Mahicans”, which later became an ambitious series of 24 two-hour films under the title of “How The West Was Won”, produced by MGM-TV.

Aside from his popular role in “The Scarecrow and Mrs. King”, he is well known for his leading roles in “Bring ‘Em Back Alive” and the Miniseries “Bare Essence” and his work in “Babylon 5″. He Also co-starred in the TV movies “East of Eden”, “The Last Convertible”, “Kiss Me, Kill Me”, “Fly Away”, “Happily Ever After” and “Passion Flower”.
