Just because he’s no longer working on a weekly television series doesn’t mean Bruce Boxleitner has been goofing off - far from it. In fact, he’s been working harder than ever, and it won’t be long until you’ll be seeing that ruggedly handsome face on the big screen!
Bruce has just finished working on his first major motion picture. “The Baltimore Bullet,” in which he stars opposite James Coburn. They play two pool hustlers on the road in this action-packed comedy film. This is quite a different role for Bruce, but he enjoyed every minute of it (butprobably not as much as you’ll
But that’s not all - Bruce also did a CBS-TV movie of the week co-starring beautiful Suzanne Somers called “Jack and the Princess” which aired a few months back… and co starred in the mini-series, “The Last Convertible.” And, believe it or not, he’s also found time to begin work on another feature film called “The Gambler” with Kenny Rogers, who wrote the hit song of the same name.
But it’s not all work for Bruce. He still finds time to relax and enjoy life at his beautiful home in San Fernando Valley. He and his wife of nearly three years, Kathryn Holcomb (who played his sister on “How The West Was Won”) love working around the house, riding horses (they hope to get some horses of their own soon), and entertaining a few close friends. “But we’re really not part of the Hollywood scene,” Bruce says. “We’re more homebodies.”
Bruce and Kathryn share their rustic home with a black Persian cat named Schintz and a Boston bull terrier named Mikie, and in the not-too-distant future they home to start a family. He loves his life and his career, and as Bruce puts it, I feel I’m the luckiest guy in the world.”
