Further email information

For those of you who currently have smkfans.com email accounts, we will be changing the current format. Unfortunately this means that any messages that are in folders and any information in the address book will be deleted. Everyone who currently has messages they wish to save is encouraged to print them or forward them to another email address. The new system will go into affect on May 1st. This system will allow for both POP (through a program such as Microsoft Outlook) and web based access. It will also have a domain wide spam assassin - which basically means that all smkfans.com emails will have spam filters I can control. After May 1st, existing (and new!) mail users are encouraged to fill out the new sign up form, log into the new accounts, and forward any spam messages to the “get rid of my spam!” address - spam@smkfans.com. This should improve the performance and usability of the email system.
